Privacy Policy

Bliss-Marc International Corporation (“Bliss-Marc,” “we,” “us”) is a licensed insurance agency. California License #0H92044. We are an agency, not an insurer — we place coverage with licensed insurance carriers, and any policy issued is a contract between you and that carrier.

This policy explains what we collect through blissmarcquotes.com, through our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and in the course of quoting and placing coverage.

When you use the instant estimator

Your name, company name, work email address, state and ZIP code, the type of coverage you’re pricing, your payroll figures by workers’ compensation class code, your profession or type of operation, your annual revenue, and the estimate range we generate for you.

When you complete an application for coverage

Substantially more, because underwriters require it: contact name, title, email address and phone number; company name, mailing address, date established and business structure; gross receipts for the prior and coming year; the nature and type of your operations; details of your care protocols, equipment and patient-population mix; your staffing, screening and background-check practices; licensing status and any disciplinary or criminal history disclosed on the application; prior claims and any known incidents that could give rise to a claim; and your electronic signature and the date you signed.

When you respond to one of our ads

If you complete a lead form inside Facebook or Instagram, we receive the contact details and answers you provide there — typically your name, work email, phone number, state, the kind of agency you operate, your employee count, and when your current policy renews. Meta also handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Automatically, when you visit

Your IP address, browser type and device information, the pages you view and when, the site or ad that referred you, and campaign parameters attached to the link you arrived on. We store those campaign parameters in your browser for the duration of your visit so that if you request a quote we know which advertisement brought you. Cookies set by Meta’s advertising tools are also read.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or payment card details through this website. We do not collect protected health information about your patients or clients.

• To keep records required of a licensed insurance agency
• To measure which advertisements produce genuine inquiries, so we spend less on the ones that don’t
• To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and to secure the site
• To comply with insurance regulation and with legal obligations generally

Insurance carriers, managing general agents, wholesalers and underwriters. This is the principal disclosure and the point of the exercise — we cannot obtain a quote without submitting your information to the people who price the risk.

Service providers who operate our systems. Vercel hosts this website and records server logs. Resend delivers notification email to our team. Google Workspace holds our record of quotes and applications. Meta Platforms delivers and measures our advertising.

Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants and auditors — where reasonably required.

Legal and regulatory disclosures, including to state insurance departments, where required by law, subpoena or a regulator’s lawful request.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and we use Meta’s Pixel and Conversions API to understand which advertisements lead to genuine quote requests.

When you request an estimate, we may transmit to Meta a cryptographically hashed version of identifying details — such as your email address, phone number, name and state — together with your IP address and browser user-agent. Hashing converts the value into an irreversible string before it leaves our systems; we do not send Meta your email address or phone number in readable form. Meta uses these values to match activity to an account it already holds and to report whether an advertisement worked.

Meta acts as an independent controller of information it holds about you. Its handling is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy, and your Facebook and Instagram ad settings control what it may do.

You can limit this: adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook settings, use your browser’s tracking-prevention settings, or use an ad blocker. None of that prevents you from getting a quote.

If you give us your phone number — on this site or through one of our lead forms — you are agreeing that we may contact you about insurance at that number, including by automated dialing technology, prerecorded message or text message. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

To stop: reply STOP to any text, tell the agent on any call, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us at the address above. We honor opt-out requests promptly.

Quote and application records are retained for seven years after your last interaction with us, to meet insurance recordkeeping requirements and to support any claim arising from coverage we placed. Advertising and analytics data is retained on shorter cycles set by the platforms involved. When a retention period ends we delete or de-identify the information.

This site is served over HTTPS. Access to quote and application records is limited to Bliss-Marc personnel who need it. Identifiers sent to advertising platforms are hashed before transmission. Our service providers are contractually obliged to protect information they process for us.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and the appropriate regulators as required by law.

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and where it came from
• Correct anything inaccurate
• Delete it, subject to records we must retain as a licensed insurance agency
• Stop contacting you, at any time, for any reason

California residents. The CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, grants rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit the use of sensitive personal information, and prohibits retaliation for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. We extend these rights to California residents as a matter of practice.

Texas residents. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act grants rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale and certain profiling. We extend these rights to Texas residents as a matter of practice.

To exercise any of this, write to info@blissmarc.com or call 847-220-1430. We will verify your identity before acting, respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need longer. You may use an authorized agent. There is no charge.

Much of what we collect describes your business rather than you personally — payroll by class code, gross receipts, operational practices, claims history. Information about a business entity is generally not “personal information” under consumer privacy statutes. Where information identifies an individual — your name, your work email, your direct line — we treat it as personal information and this policy applies to it in full.

This site is intended for business owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may link to carrier websites and other third-party resources. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.

We will post any revision here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
